Our Vision

A Modern Learning Campus for Zanzibar

GEMS International School Zanzibar is envisioned as a modern learning campus that brings together academic excellence, innovation and student wellbeing. The school is designed to offer high-quality learning, modern facilities and a supportive environment for 1,500+ students, from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

The school aims to support intellectual, social and physical development in a balanced learning environment, built on a 6,000 m² purpose-built campus close to the Infinity Hills community.

Beyond the Classroom

Learning Spaces Designed for Every Subject

The campus is planned with dedicated science laboratories, ICT labs, an innovation lab, a library, and spaces for music, art and drama — giving every part of the curriculum a purpose-built home.

Inclusion rooms and accessible circulation are planned throughout the campus, so every learner can engage fully with school life.

The Campus

One Connected Campus

Set on a 6,000 m² site, GEMS Zanzibar brings classrooms, laboratories, halls and outdoor spaces together in a single, purpose-built environment. Dedicated bus, staff and visitor circulation keep daily arrival and collection safe and organised.

Classrooms are arranged across the campus’s floors by year group, alongside shared spaces including a multi-purpose hall, library, dining area and outdoor play and games areas.

Every space has been planned around how students actually move through the school day — from morning drop-off to after-school activities.
